Green Lantern. The Movie
“You must learn to focus your will and create what you see in your mind.”
The trailer and the super green hero character have made me to believe that Green Lantern it’s a low quality movie, predictable and targeted at 10 years old kids. But I was wrong: in my right there was a 10 years old kid which has fallen asleep.
The story was originally enough and Ryan Reynolds, The Super Hero, went well in this role, succeeding to give credibility to the super hero regardless many humoristic scenes.
The 3D effects didn’t had any WOW effects, but it were much better than those of Pirates of the Caribbean for example. What’s more important is that 3D didn’t seized the characters or the story, which sometimes is better to be this way.
If you want a relaxing evening, Green Lantern can be a good movie choice. After I got out the cinema, I realized that GL somehow resembles the animation movie Megamind.
It seems that the sequel, Green Lantern 2, will arrive in 2013 in a “Darker and Grainier” version.
Surprising, with the movie you will also get some interesting words on which you usually came across in Self-Development books:
