Sunt multe lucruri mai putin logice, sau mai putin corecte in ceea ce priveste modul in care principalele motoare de cautare raspund cerintelor explicite ale webmasterilor, cum ar fi neindexarea anumitor pagini.

As putea da ca exemplu Yahoo. Intr-un interviu, Priyank Garg, product management director la Yahoo! Search, a abordat si tema paginilor cu noindex. Acesta declara ca, o pagina poate aparea in cautari, chiar daca aceasta are aplicat noindex. Aceasta va aparea in rezultate, doar pentru anchor-urile din link-urile externe si in nici un caz datorita continutului din pagina.

Priyank Garg: We do index a page and we will show its URL in search results if it is very heavily linked to the Web, even if it has a NoIndex tag on it.

That is something that is a behavior that we follow. Thatâs been essentially applicable to situations where the page itself is high value, and it has many links that are very relevant to a particular query as indicated by anchor text.

Eric Enge: Right. I guess there is sort of a threshold in which the links indicate a high enough demand for that pageâs content that itâs hard to not have it in the index.

Priyank Garg: Exactly. So in that particular case, we will have the URLs show up in the search results, but there will be no abstract. And the URL would show up only because of the anchor text; it will not show up because of any terms on that page.

Chiar si asa, am ramas surprins azi, cand am dat peste blogline.ro(fostul meu blog), la o cautare in Google. Site-ul este offline de ceva vreme si totusi apare in indexul google, cu titlul si descrierea din Dmoz(site-ul inca mai este listat in dmoz.org).

Noindex pe un site offline? Posibil sa nu fi inteles bine.

L-am scos din DMOZ. obotii din DMOZ nu l-au vazut ca fiind offline.

In prima parte scriam despre faptul ca Yahoo! afiseaza in cautari pagini care au declarat noindex( fie in robots.txt sau meta tags).Se intampla asta cand cuvintele din cautarea respectiva se regasesc "heavily" si in IBL anchors.

Iar in a II-a parte remarcam ca, in ciuda faptului ca blogine.ro era offline de ceva vreme aparea in cautari la care se foloseau cuvinte ce se aflau si in anchorul linkului din Dmoz.

Cred ca de aici vine confunzia. Dar nici eu nu prea am talentul de a fi persuasiv :)

Multumesc ca ai scos siteul din Dmoz. Pare ciudat sa multumesti cand iti este scos un site din Dmoz :)
